In order to celebrate Coca-Cola’s 125th anniversary, this September the company will be introducing a limited-edition design of Diet Coke that will be on shelves for an as of yet undisclosed period of time. It could be three months, it could be three decades.
It's a stunning redesign (by Turner Duckworth). Absolute simplicity and boldness. No visual fizz, no gratuitous waves, no fake sweat drops. Just a great big Diet Coke logo which is instantly recognisable.
Also notice how, at a given angle of the can, you can see a big “ok”. I'm not sure if that was intentional, but it’s a nice touch.

Messages from Mars
Masterfoods and FHV BBDO in the Netherlands encouraged 16 to 24 year olds to engage with the Mars Bar brand with “Messages from Mars”, a Gold Design Lion winner at Cannes International Advertising Festival. The campaign involved removing the iconic labelling from the bar, leaving it black, and providing consumers with the complete alphabet in Mars typography, including punctuation marks. The bar became an interactive object that gave people the possibility to create their own messages and give these to friends, colleagues or family.

London snow provides blank canvas for branding
An innovative and quick-thinking creative agency, took advantage of yesterday's blizzards to deliver a 'snow-tagging' campaign for sports channel, Extreme.
Curb, which provides branding and advertising solutions using only natural resources, stamped over 2000 Extreme logos onto 350 London locations.
Parked cars, post boxes, walls and central London’s shopping hub Oxford Street, were all branded with the logo, which was applied using a laser cut stencil.
Al Gosling, CEO of Extreme Group, said: "Extreme has a long history of both branding innovation and association with alpine adrenaline living, but it’s not very often we get to bring these both together onto the streets of London.
