Font nerd alert! Here’s a three-dimensional way to express your love of letters.
The Fontable, designed by Alessandro Canepa and Andrea Paulicelli is a new concept featuring letters A-Z in lower and uppercase as well as the numbers 0-9. Each table is made from a single sheet of steel in white, black or red. The adjustable legs are anodized aluminum.
Order a single letter or a whole word.

Penguin Classics team up with (RED) for typographic covers
These book covers from Penguin are simply stunning - they work well as a set, yet retain their own identities and I love the way the designs creep out onto the lower banner.
It's a collaboration between Penguin and AIDS awareness fund (RED) and a team of designers to produce new covers for eight Penguin Classics. Each cover replaces the usual black band with red, employing a quote from the text of the book as the visual hit.
Wonderful work as ever from Penguin.

Uniqlo creates Twitter show in online campaign

Uniqlo is attempting to tap into the popularity of Twitter by creating UTweet, a somewhat off-beat online promotional campaign for its latest t-shirts.
The application invites Twitter users to enter their details in order to create a personalised 'Twitter show', based on the history of messages posted.
It then uses audio and imagery to tell your story and encourages you to send it on to friends. During the Twitter show, models wearing UT t-shirts from Uniqlo appear, promoting the range.
I love the vibrant, bold feel of UTweet - and the striking user-generated red and white typographical images. Nice work. And their previous campaigns are interesting too: eg. Uniqlock, an obscure video involving dancing models and another nice one, Uniqlo Calendar

What Type Are You?

Always wondered what typeface you are? Now Pentagram can help give you an answer...
This site was originally set up as a Christmas message from Pentagram, but those clever folk at Creative Review have realised that the password works for anyone, so decided to share it with us.
Visit the site here, and simply type in your name and the password 'character' and off you go. A psychiatrist figure will then ask you a number of questions about your personality before diagnosing you with a typeface. A short film about your type will then play.
I was diagnosed as 'Letrees Ornees', below, a decorative typeface... Lovely!

Sam Winston

Take the whole text of Romeo & Juliet, separate out every word said in passion into one pile, everything said in rage in another, and then a final group that wasn’t passion or rage. Finally arrange them lovingly in three collages, and what do you have? The latest piece of mastery from Sam Winston.
